The majority of those birds are going to outlive them. Cockatoos can live up to 70+ years, Macaws up to around 100 years. They have the mentality of 3-5 year olds for their entire lifespan.
If they really loved them, they would stop breeding them, and start looking for homes. It’s about the money.
True bird lovers rescue birds and don’t breed them.
